Michael Jon Watt : Transit Design Creative Director

I have 20 years experience as a Graphic Designer and Advertising Art Director with clients throughout the U.S. I am one of the lucky few who knew what I wanted to do from an early age. I began my design career re-arranging my mother’s furniture, and landed my first graphic design studio position as a freshman in college. Since then, I have worked for design and advertising agencies in Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston and Nashville.

Most of my creative work focuses on print design and I am particularly drawn to typography and simple, bold graphics. I have a skilled eye for color, with strong conceptual abilities. I’m passionate about detail, balance, communication and creating a message through intelligent design.

A California native, and raised in Michigan, I now live and work from my home in Franklin, Tennessee.
